How Young People Can Begin a Budgeted Lifestyle

Switching from heedless spending to a controlled, budgeted way of life is really not easy. If people say it is easy, they are lying - whether they really mean to lie or not. However, the reason why people think budget living is easy is simple - after a while, it becomes a matter of habit. You do not stop to look into the video game parlor, you automatically reach for the drugstore brand of lipstick, and you get used to chipping away at debts and having a little in your account with every passing month.

Here is how to begin -

1. Chart your income. Look at the average income you have had over the past three months. Income includes wages and salaries, business income, tips, pocket money and even one-off payments for casual jobs such as cleaning your neighbor's pool. If you had an income spike in one month, try to figure out what caused it - did you put in more overtime, extend better service, find an extra job, or an extra one-off assignment? Would you look for sporadic spikes in your income, or stick to a steady salary and opt for regular income increases?

2. Chart your expenditure. Take a month to do this, as it is impossible to remember every penny you spent over the past thirty days. From the half-dollar you toss into the homeless man's hat to your Internet and credit card bill, chart it all. Do not skimp too much on this first month, as it may backfire spectacularly if you try and stick to it for too long. Spend as you usually do, although you may begin to reduce your spending automatically as you notice the dollars flowing out of your bank account.

Simply charting, of course, is not enough. At the end of the month, make a total of how much you have spent on each item. How much did you spend at Starbucks, at the movies, on dates, on cigarettes and alcohol? Did you hire a cab when you could have taken a bus, or buy an expensive T-shirt that wasn't really necessary? Also, have you been eating out when you could perfectly well cook at home or purchase a frozen meal? It is quite easy to consider all our habits to be "essential" expenses. The sad truth is that most of them are not.

Ideally, you should be saving at least 20% of your income - possibly to buy a car, go for higher education or buy a home later on. With times being what they are, job security is at an all-time low, and you never know when savings might come in handy. So if your spending is just within your total income, it's time to pull up your socks and consider curtailing expenses. Carpools, home-cooked food, rented DVDs and dates at home can be a great way to cut costs without much inconvenience. Once you learn to love yourself, your home and your life as they are, you will find yourself needing to dent your pockets with retail "therapy" much less often.

Traditional Christmas

No matter where you grew up in, when the leaves of trees start to whither and fall, and nights grow colder and longer, you know the holiday season is approaching. For every nation, culture, and family there's a traditional Christmas, but there are some things shared by everyone even from all across the globe.

Who doesn't know Santa Claus, that beefy old white-haired and white-bearded man in a red suit who comes at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve and showers gifts for all good children while they sleep? He enters each household via the chimney and fills Christmas stockings with candies and trinkets and places presents underneath Christmas trees, then returns to his sleigh pulled by flying reindeers and soars off. Now of course there really is no Santa but there are the presents left by parents underneath the tree and inside the stockings on Christmas Eve to surprise their children in the morning. Still remember the joy of getting a box or two wrapped in beautiful paper and tied with a ribbon? You shake it near your ear to guess what could be inside, then open it eagerly and jump for joy at your new toy!

Then of course there are Christmas carols, the bountiful feasting with family, snowball fights in the yard (you can't exclude winter and snow from the idea of Christmas now, can you?) and building a Frosty the Snowman in the lawn, Christmas cards and Christmas-themed TV shows and movies. All these make for very memorable experiences on the traditional Christmas for each person and family the world over.

The Right Farenheit in Jamaica

He was named 'Fahrenheit' by DJ Don Flash, and sure enough he seems to always be at the right temperature, tempo and all that. Terrence Harold, of Jamaican soil is also known as "Farenizzi", employs his many talents in exposing Jamaica, its people, culture and skills to the world.

An artist-at-large, he is an international ambassador of the arts and Jamaica 's culture, as through whichever form he chooses - painting, graphic design, silky smooth vocals, music, acting, producing as starters he never ceases to express all that's Jamaican. The prolific artist is equally skilled as musician, singer, actor and graphic designer, unknown to many.

Born in Kingston, Harold has always loved the arts, and his humilty and tempered personality reflects the outcome of one who is intimatelyconnected to many forms. "As a child, I loved Caribbean music" Harold recalls. He always appreciated the work of master painter Barrington Watson.

Terrence 'Fahrenheit' Harold Born in the 70s, to a mother from Portland, and a Saint Vincentian father, Harold was raised in Kingston. This resulting combination of culture provided much influence on his career already being formed during his youth.

Growing up he listened to music such as Jesus Christ, the superstar, Toots, Dennis Brown. At the same time his visual palette was being influenced by influences of Barrington Watson. In addition he had an interest in music/dance while a part of a breakdancer group with the Savage crew at Wolmers High. Back then the Savage crew belonged to the music school which was beside the art school.

Later he studied graphic design at the Edna Manley College, then Jamaica School of Art. In addition to exploring sculpture and painting, he received vocal training from the Cuban teacher, Gorgia Guerra. Guerra has been living in Jamaica for over 20 years and has trained artistes including Baby Cham, Alaine, Swade, Christopher Martin, Brian and Tony Gold.

The major contributors to his development, though has been his parents, who exposed him to a wide array of music to listen including Latin, rock, reggae. Although owning good social skills and 'connections,' life as the multifaceted artiste that he is began with a struggle, after Edna Manley College, simply, because of his fusing hard core dancehall with other music forms.

Now successful in the combined visual and performing arts, exemplary to many others, he says passion is what accounts for his success mostly. Balancing participation in visual, literary and performing is not difficult for the artist who uses both left and right sides of his brain. Not to mention those vocals that plays seductive tunes on your inner being like a piano. He encourages artists to remain committed, considering his own challenges faced on his way to the top. He remembers for example the many applications he submitted to theatre. Harold's first theatrical stints were 'Redemption' and 'Against his Will' by David Herron. He's also done Dirty Diana at Centrestage.

Later, he moved into television, securing a role in Royal Palm Estate (Produced by Mediamixx 2003-2004). His international roles extended to Almost Heaven (german film-ed howzing). Interestingly, Terrence was a Kymani stunt. He doubled in One Love, and co-starred in Goat Head (produced by Paul Bucknor). He has a role in the upcoming Better Mus Come, a Storm Saulter's movie production will be out soon.

Cd cover by Fahrenheit His training in graphics is balanced with his music as he designs all his CD covers, and for a few other artistes. His jobs include logos for example Brand New Machine (his latest project), Lottery Company 2003, Markham Betting 2000.

A few CDs designed by him are Fringe to Fore 1999, Port Antonio Virgin 2007, and upcoming Red Cup College scheduled for release in 2010. Music is perhaps where he is best successful, or popularly known as a rock/reggae musician and singer.

His first song was recorded by Dr Paul of Ruff Cut crew, from the Shabba Ranks band. Of the songs he has produced for himself are Looga Man, Kid Kurup, Jovi Rockwell. He has also been featured in some of internationally acclaimed singer Sean Paul's music such as Bubble, a created ringtone for mobile phones.

Harold sees the combined arts as being crucial to society's development. He opines that "as a nation we need to support the art form in schools". The passionate artiste blames the lack of music classes or sessions in high schools, as a major problem.

Harold's latest project is Brand New Machine, which started last year December. Brand New Machine co-hosted with Steve Wilson every Wednesday presents a different theme to the patrons at Fiction Lounge. Fashionista exposes local designers; Papparatzi birthday celebrationz for celebrities; Red cups+lollypops is for spirrrpy party frenzy. Then there are exhibitions for exposing local visual artists including painters, and photographers and literary writers.

To the youth Harold's advice is "Stay focused; be true to your art form and remain passionate: Dont get disgruntled when broke... some things will give if you are real with the thing."

Landlords - Use Text Messaging to Retain Tenants

With the abundance of cell phones almost every tenant in your apartment building has one. And they are familiar with text messaging as a method of communication. Property managers and landlords can use this to their advantage to retain tenants and improve conditions on their property.

Savvy property management companies have resorted to using technology by creating contests utilizing text messaging. Tenants are requested to sign up for the competition by submitting the cell phone numbers that are capable of receiving text messages. Entries are eligible for monthly drawings for prizes which can range from iPods to dinner and movies to TVs.

Tenants are encouraged to report suspicious activity or unruly tenants using text messaging to the property management company. Management is able to immediately respond to the situation. Since they know they can be reported at any time, tenants are trained to be a good neighbor. Property management companies utilizing this technique report a reduced rate of crime and vandalism.

Most tenants are reluctant to report unruly behavior because they feared retribution. Tenants prefer the relative anonymity of using text messaging to report activity so they are more likely to text message concerns instead of addressing the unruly tenant directly themselves. Tenants realize that they have the power to improve the environment in which they live by taking action that involves sending a text message.

In addition to using the contest for communication, property managers can send alerts to tenants to remind them when rent is due. This has reduced rent arrears.

Drawings can be held monthly. The best solution is to have one drawing for everyone who has registered for the contents. Then have a second drawing for a more expensive prize for everyone who has reported any vandalism or unruly tenants.

Fundamentals of Successful Dating

The future success of your dating relationship and its climax into a lifelong marital relation depends on the maturity of mental, emotional and physical behavior shown and exhibited by both the partners. Practices of a few dos and don'ts will definitely help in making your relationship strong and successful.

Do's: leading towards the success

Quote sweet and memorable nothings. The work life of today's couples has become so busy that they hardly get any time to chat for long hours on phone. SMSs are a way out. Send small cute and loving text messages to your partner. Just this much will make your partner feel happy and he/she will be able to understand the importance of your relationship.

Just send a message if you are at a long-distance: Messaging is the easiest way to connect to your partner. Share that happy surprise with your partner to make him or her happy. Even, if you are not in a position to call up your partner at least a loving message will make them happy. Apart from messaging from mobile phone, you can also send some email greetings to your partner showing her how much you are missing her. Your partner will be pleased by your greetings.

Inform each other about your first date. It is vital to communicate your partner and inform the day and time when you are planning to go and meet him or her. This pre-date communication has to be light and fun filled. Also, know about your partner's favorite bands, movies, freak out places and other sources of entertainment so that you can plan the date accordingly. This information can be used for surprising your partner when you meet her for the first time.

Don'ts: leading towards the success

Never presume: If you have received some unpleasant message from your partner don't form an opinion then and there. Sometimes written messages are unclear and can be misinterpreted. So it is better to clarify before you conclude something absolutely negative and wrong about your partner. Clear your suspicions and doubts when you are face to face. Complete reliance on written texts and e-mails will lead to negative imagination and insecurity.

Don't create abbreviations: sending brief and small messages is good. It helps in saving a lot of money and time spent in messaging. Try to use common abbreviations for terms. Use only those symbols and terms that are commonly used by people. Instant creation of new words and terms lead to passing of rubbish and nonsense text and your partner might misunderstand you.

Don't tease and make fun of your partner: fun games and messages are often used to flirting the other person and put in an element of fun and enjoyment in your communication. The most important things are honesty and truthfulness in your feelings. But fun is dissimilar from mocking. So never mock at your partner and make him or her feel offended. This will create a bad impression about you in your partner's mind. Follow the above-mentioned dos and don'ts when you are planning a dating with your partner!

Cultural Differences

As a small child, I often wished that I had a twin sister. The fantasies were vague, but the general idea was that she would be someone just like me in every way. We of course would always get along, share our toys, and be best of friends. With a little more experience, I began to grasp the point: Being with someone exactly like me is about as interesting as being alone. The joy in life comes from being with people who are different than I am. This is good because of course I never found anyone exactly like me.

But at the same time, it's not always easy. Building relationships across differences means that sometimes -- even frequently -- we might disagree. Even if this is someone from our own culture, who has lived through more or less the same experiences, listened to the same radio stations, watched the same movies, read or watched the same news, we might still disagree. In such cases, we tend to feel very free to judge the other person. We see this especially across divides of political opinion. How, we wonder, do they see all the same facts and come up with such an illogical conclusion?

We may try to persuade them to rethink their logic -- usually a futile exercise -- or we may "agree to disagree," a common solution in the USA when people want to maintain relationships. Typically this means that we tend to avoid these problem topics where we see things differently, and focus instead on all those things we have in common. Very rarely, and mostly with those we love the most, we might try harder to understand the other person's point of view, and allow that other point of view to be part of how we also see the world.

Building relationships across cultures means navigating even more differences. Of course, there will be similarities and that can be helpful. But we usually recognize right away that there are many differences; whether it's the food, the language, the climate, the religion, or the political system. There may also be visible physical differences. Even dressed in a salwar kameez, I could never pass for a native in India and so I was often greeted by shouts from children: "Hello! What country are you from?" If we have a generous soul, these very noticeable differences tend to make us reticent to judge the other person or the other culture, though of course in some ways we often do judge, and that is why we may tread lightly around some of the differences we find. We may avoid mentioning the differences we find because in fact they do sound like judgments in our ear. We may worry that we will offend or embarrass the other person. But it doesn't have to be that way.

On my first visit to Japan, I stayed with a lovely family who generously gave me meals and a place to stay while I worked and explored Tokyo. I remember the dinner when my hosts first served me a miso soup that was oishi -- that is, it was delicious! But my hosts couldn't tell that from my behavior; they were the ones to comment: "How funny that you eat the soup silently." That would be how I was trained to eat soup in the USA, so I did it quite naturally, but now that this differences was called to my attention, I realized that everyone else at the table has been slurping the soup. Far from being embarrassed or offended, I was glad that they brought this up. It was another aspect of the Japanese culture I could try out.

Many differences are less visible (or audible) as whether or not you slurp your soup. Generally differences in non-verbal behaviors are much easier to accept and adapt to than differences in what we believe to be true in life, religion, or in politics. I remain the same person if I decide to slurp my soup when in Japan and eat it silently in the USA, but my identity may feel more vulnerable if I decide to explore other religious or even political beliefs. And yet, even that doesn't have to be true if I think of my self as a growing and evolving person. Years ago when I was traveling alone in Montreal, I had time to spare and was willing to fill out a survey. I had thought it was a marketing survey but it turned out to be a Scientology personal assessment. When I discovered this afterwards, I closed up. I was coaxed into the debriefing but determined that I would leave immediately afterwards. Though I still wanted to be polite, my defenses were in high alert. I did not want to be converted. I never joined the Scientology church and still have no intention of doing so. However, in the intervening years, I have come to understand that the debriefing did offer a particular insight into my personality that I now recognize to be true, and it's been helpful to me to know about it and to have a label for it, to embrace it and to compensate for it. It's also given me an understanding about the value that other belief systems may hold.

I was reminded of this in August 2009 when I attended the International Academy of Intercultural Research (IAIR) conference and heard the keynote address by Min-Sum Kim. She was humorously self-critical about her resistance to religious missionaries who saw her as a "worthy target" for conversion, and challenged us all to be more open to, and less fearful of differences.

It is a big challenge, and I know I have a long way to go.

Anatomy of a Photoshop Disaster

During a recent meeting with our graphic designers, I arrived with a photograph for a Dining Etiquette project - but the woman in the picture had her elbows on the table. No worries, the designers said, we'll adjust it. And they did; they "photoshopped" the misplaced elbow right onto her lap.

Adobe Photoshop® is the software that enables designers and photographers to reduce chubby thighs and chins, buff up arms and chests and eliminate facial lines. In short, this digital editing technique manipulates images with safe, non-invasive, touch-up surgery.

Sounds to good to be true and this month, Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation got caught overstepping the rules-of-reasonable-retouching.

No, your eyes don't deceive you. In this ad, only released in Japan, the model's head appears larger than her pelvis. Incredibly, even with the image in international circulation and the model, Filippa Hamilton, 23, expressing shock at seeing the "super skinny girl with my face," the PR gang at Ralph Lauren tried to downplay the furor. Finally, they conceded that the image was "mistakenly released." But the story doesn't end there.

Filippa, who modeled for Ralph Lauren for eight years and thought of the firm as a second family, was so shocked by the controversy she decided to speak out. Countess Filippa Hamilton (she's a member of the Swedish nobility and a French and Swedish national) announced that prior to the release of the controversial image, Ralph Lauren fired her - for being too fat. Just for the record, Filippa weighs 120 pounds, is 5'10" and size 4. According to the statement issued by her former employer, she could no longer meet her contractual obligations - Filippa ceased to be a sample size. (Experts say that the industry has "downsized" and the trend is for smaller size models. Size 0?)

This story is troubling on many levels - there's no question that the distortion is distasteful - but the real concern is for young, impressionable women, anxious to imitate supermodels. Presenting this impossible-to-achieve body image is the greatest offence.

I agree with Yves Saint Laurent who often talked about fashion in terms of illusion. He was a master of proportion and balance long before Photoshop® was even a blip on a screen. Many of my clients want to achieve the look of a narrower waistline and by working with fabric, colour and silhouette, I'm able to enhance their assets. I call this Reality-Retouching.

Another French fashion designer has recently been making headlines. The release of the movie, Coco before Chanel, chronicles the early-life of this iconic designer. Along with Chanel #5 perfume, the little black dress, costume jewellery and so many of today's fashion sensibilities, she gave women a sense of freedom. Her proudest achievement was giving women ownership of their bodies. With her innovative sense of style, Coco Chanel released the binding corsets that held diminutive waists in place. Come to think of it, not so far from Filippa's photoshopped torso.

Group Game - A Fun Game For Family & Group Get-Togethers

This fun team game can be played with your family, with friends, for team-building or leadership activities, at parties, for Church or youth groups, or any other get-together! It is a combination of the classic game of Charades, but players will draw the words instead of actually acting them out. Enjoy playing this fun team game!

DRAWING CHARADES

# of Players: 4 or more

Objects Needed: Papers, Pencils, Bowl (& Possibly a Blindfold)

If you are not a good artist, you'd better hope your teammates are great guessers! To start, have each person playing take 5 slips of paper and write on them various things: famous person, familiar place, common object, movie, song, animal, etc. (it can be anything). Then, place all the papers in a bowl, and divide the group into two teams (or teams of 3-4 players on each team). To begin, have one person from each team come to the front of the room.

These two players (or more if there are more than 2 teams) will then together pull out one paper and each will look at this same paper. They then will go back to their team, and at "go," they will have to draw what was on the paper. When drawing, there is absolutely no talking aloud by the person drawing, or writing letters and words to describe what is being drawn (only drawing). And, the person drawing must keep their eyes shut while drawing - no peaking! Each team will then be in a race to be the first team to guess what it is their teammate is drawing. The first team that guesses correctly will receive a point. Start another round by having each team send up a new person to pull a slip of paper out to draw. This will repeat, and the first team to 15 points is the winner!

The New Future - Strategy is Fundamentally About How You're Going to Deliver Unique Value

Today's organizations operate in a highly dynamic business context, which is compounded by complexity and uncertainty throughout the society. For the immediate future, business leaders will have to master the disciplines of uncertainty.

The news today is not very good. Every time we think we are on the upside of the downturn, we get thrown for another loop, hit with another crisis, told it will be just a few more months before all this turns around.

The unprecedented monetary stimulus, government guarantees, and injections of capital seem largely to have ended the short-term crisis that landed the capital and credit markets in the hospital. But it remains unclear what will happen when the patient is taken off its medicine.

For the first time in a year, majority say economic conditions in their countries are better now than they were in September 2008. Although the global news is good, there are marked regional differences; executives in the developed countries of Asia are generally the most optimistic, and those in Europe are the least.

However, a majority of executives around the world share the prevailing skepticism about consumers: when asked to name the biggest threat to future economic growth and to the growth of their own companies, most are concerned with low consumer demand and losing business to low-cost competitors.

It's times like these when tremendous competitive success can be achieved. It's times like these where companies can shift positions in the marketplace. It's times like these when leaders can become followers, and followers can become leaders, because we are in a period where everything is now going to open and unfreeze. The cheap are getting better, the better are getting cheaper. Cheaper, better and faster is the new normal.

There are changes in lifestyle - people not going to movies, but watching at home; not eating out, but eating at home. People are not going anymore for the premium skin care products or perhaps Starbucks.

Alternative selling channels (kiosks, home-shopping, internet retailing, service stations, vending, and direct selling have been introduced often.

The world population will be growing, if we like it or not, from the current six-and-a-half billion to about eight billion by 2030. And that will not only give you more people, but it will also - as they improve their standard of living - create other opportunities for products to expand.

It is very clear that this world has tremendous challenges. The challenges of poverty, of water, of global warming, climate change.

The worst mistake in strategy is to compete with your competitors on the same thing. You want to find a different kind of value that you can deliver to a different set of customers. Strategy is fundamentally about how you're going to deliver unique value.

Technologies such as high-speed Internet, mobile broadband and GPS are enabling new ways of providing value to customers. Not so long ago, the choices for anyone needing an automobile were to buy one, lease one, or rent one, by the day or by the week. In each of these alternatives, the car was likely to sit unused in a lot or a garage for long stretches of time. These models all provided great convenience - but at the price of great inefficiency.

With the arrival of new technologies, another model emerged: car sharing. Rather than buy or lease an entire car, customers buy just the amount of car they actually need. It could be an entire day's worth or just an hour. The car is there when they need it - and in use by someone else when they don't.

White Ocean Strategy does not represent the world of competition but rather the world of abundance in which you can share.

Good service is not enough. Shoot for customer satisfaction. A constant drive to improve.

You know, what was YouTube yesterday is Twitter today. Twitter a brand that has reached an estimated value of $1 billion since its founding in 2006. Like other social media, Twitter faces a dilemma: it is easier to sign up users than it is to monetize them. Personal accounts are free, and the micro blogging site has yet to settle on a proper business model.

Taking a step in that direction, Twitter is establishing paid-for business accounts. Founder Biz Stone assures businesses they can still use Twitter for free, but the paid accounts will provide a "special layer of access" that includes feedback and statistics.

Microsoft now has to worry about the rise of cloud computing, a wave Google intends to ride to the fullest, with its upcoming Chrome operating system. Tomorrow's competition for Microsoft's operating systems (and Apple's, for that matter) is waiting in the wings. Recently, Google started "lifting the veil" on Chrome, an operating system that will allow computers to run programs via over the Internet and through a Web browser, an approach called cloud computing.

Google has good reason to go this route, of course, since it owns the world's most popular search engine. While PC users today rely on cloud computing to access information over the Internet, user files still largely reside on the machine's hard drive. Google's approach is to have all programs and data stored on servers and available to each user via the Internet.

Leadership is about influencing and character. The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority. Leadership is a combination of strategy and character. If you must be without one, be without the strategy. Leaders must be able to think and do.

An effective follower is both a critical and independent thinker. Characterized by mindfulness and a willingness to act, effective followers are capable of self-management. They are willing to accept responsibility, serve the needs of the organization, challenge authority, participate in change, and even leave the organization when necessary.

The road to servant leadership lies not in trying to fix or change others but in working on changing and improving ourselves. 'Everyone wants to change the world, but no one wants to change himself.'

To cope with change, the leader must be:

o Passionately believe that they can make a difference. They envision the future, creating an ideal and unique image of what the organization can become.
o Search for opportunities to change the status quo. They look for innovative ways to improve the organization. In doing so, they experiment and take risks.
o Foster collaboration and build spirited teams. They actively involve others.

If you look at the Gandhis or the Mandelas and the Mother Teresas, they exhibit a form of leadership that is very appealing, which is to put the interest of others ahead of themselves.

Dalai Lama, who said once, 'If you seek enlightenment for yourself just to enhance yourself, you missed the purpose. If you seek enlightenment for yourself by helping others, you are with purpose.' That's the style of leadership that we increasingly need in today's world.

Tight filming timetables mean that Dove needs to work speedily and get results quickly on-set. In my opinion, she has managed to deliver these same speedy results through her popular on-line dog training course.

The course is divided into 7 concise lessons, covering areas like 'dog obedience training', 'walking correctly on a leash', 'how to teach recall', and 'dog manners'. The course is available as a downloadable file, in audio/video format, which means you will have immediate access to all of the course materials and free bonuses once your purchase is completed. The great thing about this multimedia format is that you get to see and hear at first hand the gestures, body movements and voice tones that Dove Cresswell uses in her training sessions. It's far easier to copy her techniques by observing and listening directly than by reading through the theory in a book.

This package currently comes with 8 free audio file downloads, which will show you how to teach your dog to fetch, play football, hide and seek, and provides some useful information on dog food, dog snacks, and dog toys. There is also an audio file which shows you how to earn your dogs respect - essential to successful dog training.

However, I feel the best free bonus included here is Dove Cresswells guarantee to personally answer any queries you have by email once you have reviewed the course. This means you effectively get full on-line support from a top Hollywood dog trainer!

If you're looking to have fun training your dog in a way that they will love too, then I strongly suggest that you take a good look at Dove Cresswell's 'Dog Training Online'.

Breaking the Credit Addiction - Where to Begin

Many Americans are addicted to credit. That's one of the reasons we are in such a financial mess right now. Those who are under the power of this addiction need to begin the process of breaking free - and the sooner the better. Getting started is the key, so one must start somewhere, even if it is a very modest or seemingly insignificant step. Like they say, "a journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step." But where can one begin their quest to break a credit addition?

I say it should start with discretionary items - things that are not necessities of life. These things include that morning cup of coffee from Starbucks, between-meal snacks (which are not good for most people anyway), entertainment expenses like tickets to movies and sporting events, restaurant food (including fast food and takeout), and vacations. A person should initiate the use of cash-only terms for these kinds of things, if that is not already their policy. That means that if one does not have the cash to purchase such items, he or she can't afford them and will just have to do without them. No credit card or any other form of credit will be used to acquire them - period.

Of course, this is going to involve a little discipline and self-denial. At the office where I used to work, there was poster on the wall that read, "Denial is a not a river in Egypt." Instead, it is a way of life. Those who are unable to deny themselves, i.e., cannot resist the temptation to use credit for discretionary items, will fail this first simple test and will quickly fall by the wayside. Professional credit counseling will be necessary for them.

Those who pass this test, however, will be one step closer to ending their credit addition. By successfully starting with the little things, one begins to develop a pay-as-you-go attitude and will soon be on the way to applying it to the bigger stuff.

How to Have Hotter Sex With Your Wife - A Quick Guide to Improving Intimacy With Your Wife

You have been married to the love of your life for years, and the emotional connection you have with her is not only deep, but intense. But love is not the only thing that holds a marriage together. Nobody wants to admit it, but sex is not only an important part of any healthy relationship, it is as important as love.

Now that you have been married for a few years, things are pretty much routine now. Maybe it is time to get a little bit creative to bring that first kiss feeling back into the relationship.

1. Date Her

How did you win her over in the first place? When was the last time you went on an honest to goodness date? Call her, ask her out, and pick her up, just like you did. Don't expect to end up in the bedroom, instead, play like you did when you first started dating.

If going back that far isn't something that you think you can do, try a date weekend. Drive a couple of hours and check into a hotel. Get dressed up, go out to dinner at nice restaurant. Then do something that you might not do in your home town. Maybe live theater or a boat ride. Just something that is a little different from what you may do at home. Spend one evening in the room, order room service, and watch romantic movies. As long as it is something you are doing together, with no distractions, it will create an atmosphere of romance and love.

2. Compliment Her

Men may not realize it, but women go to a good deal of effort to look good. Is she wearing something new? Does her hair look different or did she try a new look with her makeup? What about a new perfume? It may seem like something little to you, but to her, chances are this little change took her a great deal of time. Say something. Point it out specifically, don't just say that she looks good, point it out.

Don't limit it to physical appearances either. Did she try to cook something new for you? Did she change something in the house, or add something to the decor? Did she just land a big client at work, or get a raise? Compliment her. She worked very hard to achieve these things. Let her know you appreciate it.

By letting her know you see it, you will see that she will do even more, and the more you compliment, the happier she will be, and just may be willing to show that appreciation in bed.

3. Seduce her

Just because a woman is married or has kids does not mean she is not a woman. She still wants to be romanced. She still wants to be wined and dined. She wants to feel like the beautiful, sexy woman you fell in love with. So make her feel like it.

Many men make the assumption that because they are married they will always have sex available when they want it. Women need to feel loved.

So when you get home, pull out all the stops. It is hard to resist the charms of a man who really wants his woman over and above all others.

4. Fulfill Her Fantasies

All women have fantasies. She may be open enough to tell you what they are, but she may not be, and will require a little coaxing. Use the information you have gathered over the years and hone in on what she really wants. Even if you can't fulfill all of them, if you make the effort, you will certainly be rewarded. This is a benefit to both of you.

If you want to improve intimacy with your wife, don't just head to the bedroom. Sex is important, but don't make her feel like it is a task or a job. Make her feel like she is the most beautiful woman on the planet and you appreciate everything about her. This will certainly heat things up for both of you.

Portable Computers Are Getting Cheaper

All across the world, people are putting aside their bulky desktop computers for the more portable and sleek laptop computer. They come with all of the same features as their more bulky counterparts. Laptops are riding an immense wave of popularity, and one of the main reasons for this popularity is the success and availability of the internet.

Most of the modern laptops we have today are manufactured in the flip format to protect the glassy-screen and keypad because of their sensitivity. Laptops offer flexibility and the ability to take them to school, work, or play. They also come equipped with high-storage capacities, and in some cases, just as much and sometimes more storage than desktops. They also come equipped touch pads, rechargeable batteries, and an AC/DC adapter.

Unlike ten years ago, laptops today are a lot cheaper. You can get ultra-stylish powerful laptops for very low prices. All you have to do is pay attention to sales and special deals that some manufacturers put out there to get people to buy their laptops. Not only are you getting portability, but you also get quality. Many manufacturers offer these deals with the hope of expanding their businesses into untapped markets. As I mentioned earlier, just a decade ago, only the rich could afford a portable computer.

Portable computers are getting smaller and thinner every day. You can carry them with you anywhere your legs can take you, without hassles. These affordable portables are also great ways to save on your power bills. Because of their batteries, you do not have to keep them plugged in to the socket.

Laptop computers are great for students and businesspersons. No matter where you are, you have the ability to check email, do research, or just listen to your favorite song while waiting for the bus. You can also do online banking, shopping, and watch movies on these portables.

Some of the most trusted laptop manufacturers are Dell, Acer, and HP. These are just a few of the many manufacturers that make portables. These manufacturers are also good with bending over backwards to make sure that you the consumer are happy. Therefore, if you were to have any problems, they will try their best to take care of the situation.

In closing, before going out and buying the first laptop you see, try to look for deals, and/or sales. You will get a great portable computer for a lot less than it would normally be.

Top Home Internet Business - What Do I Look For?

You have probably been researching a top home internet business. You have looked at a lot of different business opportunities on the internet. Some have a great business model and many others do not. Many businesses are marketing services that are out of your control and others offer products that do not work. So you ask yourself how do I know how to trust them or how do I know that their products work or are valuable to the customers?

When I was starting a top home internet business I wanted many things out of the opportunity. And I wish that I had some sort of blueprint to pick out the "perfect" opportunity for me. So, I would like to give you a mini guide in picking out a new business venture for you. So hold on and here we go!

First, make a list of things that you want out a "perfect" company for you. Usually this list is a list of questions. Things like types of products they offer their customers, what training they provide for you, are there products in unique and high demand, and what is the mindset of the company? Make this list of questions as long as possible and take your time with it. Then match and rank the business opportunities that you find up against this list. This will take some time but do it; it will make a huge difference in making sure you choose the correct company for you.

I think that there are 3 components that separate the great companies from the weak. So, when starting a top home internet business make sure that these three are at the top of your list. And if the opportunity doesn't have all of these three then they will not warrant your time and efforts.

The first is to find a company with a strong positive mindset and platform to improving your personal development. Most people miss this component when starting a top home internet business or any brick and mortar business. You must develop yourself as a person before you can develop your business. Most people and business coaches miss this one. It is HUGE!! How can you expect to have a successful business if you do not have a successful you as the person behind the scenes running the show? Every great movie or Broadway produced play has a very well fine tuned person mentally in the background. Ask the company about their personal development program for you in 3 areas mentally, physically and spiritually. One thing that all the superstars have in common is they are constantly working on improving themselves first!

The next component is the company offers you true training. Are they going to train you? If so how much and how detailed is the training being given? Who does the training, a top producer with the company or a clueless rookie? Most opportunities on the internet do not provide you with adequate training so make sure to ask these important questions. And determine if you will have the correct resources to succeed.

The last component that really matters is does the opportunity offer unique and high demand products? This is again very very rare in today's competitive market. But there are a few companies left that are 10-20 years ahead of everybody. Seek them out! Their products sell themselves so you don't have too and they can be used around the world. There is too many "me-to" products in this world, so don't fall into this trap because if you do then your chances of success or close to none.

So go get started now on making your list of what your looking for when starting a top home internet business. But remember that you must include finding an opportunity that helps you to work on your personal development, offers you training from top experts in the world of online business, and offers their customers unique and high demand products. If you do this then you will have found a perfect platform for your success!

Coaching the Best to Get Better

The best athletes in the world get coached - why? To get better. The "Top" is a moving target. You don't get coached primarily for training or just to fix a problem. You get coaching and you keep getting coaching to provide the constant renewal needed to be the best and stay the best.

The best athletes and top executives get coaching. These people viscerally understand the fifth Law of Achievement which is the Law of Renewal. This fifth law says, "Growth sustains success." The essence of this law is to constantly renew in knowledge and nurture, i.e. continuously learning and refueling. This dynamic is absolutely necessary to obtain and sustain success. The best know this.

But we can't do this alone. Though there are many aspects of the Law of Renewal we can practice ourselves, the intimate knowledge of what can make us the best we can be often eludes us. We are our own worst enemies. And...we are the last to see our blind spots. In fact, the only way a blind spot can be illuminated is by someone else. The coaching process is a way to maximize the Law of Renewal. Coaching is a way to grow in knowledge and nurture and help the best become better.

Coaching Provided Three Core Services

In addition to encouragement, structure and support, there are three elements to a good coaching process:

  1. Coaching Provides Knowledge: A good coach gives you knowledge, but not in the way a teacher would. A coach often has experiential knowledge that helps you not only perform better, but helps you be better. Tiger Wood's coach doesn't teach him how to play golf, he teaches him how to perform some aspect of golf better or look at a situation differently.
  2. Coaching Provides an Honest, Objective Mirror: When you look in a mirror, that mirror reflects what is there. There is no judgment, no opinion, no guessing. A coach gives feedback in the same way, and shapes that feedback in such a way that the person truly understands it and is helped by it.
  3. Coaching Creates a Training Program for Improvement: The process of coaching is to help the person getting coached improve in some aspect of "being" or performance. Because the coach processes experiential knowledge in the field being coached, and is able to be an honest "mirror" - that coach can create a training program to improve the person - either to fix a bad habit that has crept in, or to be a better person in the situation.

And If You Are Lucky...

We've all seen movies or read stories about that coach that goes beyond the three elements mentioned - a coach who provides the three core services, but who also exhibits the mysterious mixture of intuition and wisdom. If you get that kind of coach you are indeed lucky, or blessed. This kind of coach has a powerful process that is applied to different individuals based on each person's specific personality, character and need (you know, "Wax on...Wax off?").

When you watch this kind of coach work, it's almost magical. Comments, words, silence, suggestion or assignment are all perfectly timed to help take the coached person to the next step. Sometimes the path seems strange to the person being coached, but if trusted, the desired result lies around the corner, just out of site.

Where you receiving the three core elements of coaching or are lucky enough to have the fourth element of "process-driven, intuitive-wisdom" - there is a basic test to determine whether the coaching is a positive experience. You know the coaching experience is a good one when you have regular sessions with your coach, you can't wait to talk to your coach and you can't wait to tell someone else what you've learned.

It is rare to find good coaches in the work place. We've talked to many managers who think they are good coaches, who say they are good coaches. However, strangely, these managers aren't currently. In many instances, they have not received coaching in the past and their direct reports don't excitedly seek out that manager for guidance, training, coaching or wisdom. What happens when you offer a coaching help to someone in your office? Is the person excited to get your input and feedback?

The 5th Law of Renewal sustains success. It results in growth. Use it. Get coaching to help you get to be the best. Then keep coaching to help you keep getting better. But don't stop there - take what you've learned and pass it on. Become a coach to someone you want to grow. Help their "best" become better too!

Company Overhead - Why Your Network Marketing Products Are Overpriced!

How much money does your MLM company need to just to stay in business every month? Does it employ a large number of people all over the world? Does it operate its own farms and factories? Does it own large, beautiful buidlings? Does it sponsor sports stars, movies stars, football teams or baseball teams?

And why should this matter to you as a distributor? Because you, as a distributor, is paying for all of it. It comes out of the compensation plan. The more you have to pay for all of that "stuff", the less you get back in commissions and bonuses.

The retail price points of products from company to company are a great indicator of company overhead. There are thousands of network marketing companies that have consumable products such as skin care, personal care, vitamins, juices, etc.

Although most of these companies say they manufacture their own products, they are in fact, all manufactured by nine or ten companies for all of the network marketing companies. Very few companies manufacture their own products. The companies do, however, specify their own formula to these manufacturers.

Let's say that two companies all sell a similar product to their distributors. It doesn't matter what the product actually is - it could be a shampoo, for example. Now the companies buy this product from the same manufacturer, and the quality and the quantity of the ingredients between each of these two different shampoos is pretty much the same. Therefore the wholesale cost to the companies for their shampoos should be within a few cents of each other.

However, Company A sells its shampoo to its distributors for twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per bottle while Company B sells its shampoo to its distributors for fifteen dollars ($15.00).

So why the massive difference? The difference lies in the business philosophies of the companies and how they operate.

Company B has an online ordering system where every product has it's own sales page. All a distributor has to do is point their customer to a particular product's page and the customer can order from there.

Company A also has an online ordering system, but it's very confusing. A customer cannot order a particular product without going through the business opportunity, other products and offers and other hoops. So to make things easier, Company A sets up a customer service hotline to take care of customer orders. It employs 400 people just to take care of customer orders.

Well, Company A now has to build a building that houses 400 people. It has to heat and cool the building. It has to hire contractors to mow the lawns, clean the windows, and every now and then, re-roof the building. To keep the place hygienic you have to hire cleaners to clean the bathrooms. Building maintenance is a huge cost!

Now Company A has to to pay a salary to each of the 400 staff that take customer orders. It has to pay their retirement plans and worker's compensation as well. The 400 staff can't manage themselves so it has to hire managers and assistant managers at twice the salary of ordinary staff members and pay into their retirement and workers compensation plans too.

The staff can't work without computers and telephones, so it needs to have them as well. And Company A has to buy software and the maintenance upgrades that goes onto each of the computers.

The monthly overhead for Company A, just to employ 400 people to take care of customer orders is two million dollars! No wonder they have an overpriced product and a lousy compensation plan.

Now Company A prides itself on customer service, but guess who's job that is? It's the distributors job to look after their customers!

Company B had the sense to use technology and a simple ordering system to do exactly the same job as 400 people. That's why their product is much better value and they are able to pay their distributors more generously.

3 Amazing Tips to Learn How to Flirt With Women

Imagine being able to walk up and gallantly pull the strings of attraction with the woman of your dreams and almost hypnotically make her fall for you.

Most men think they have to use some sort of cheesy pick up line to break down the walls of communication.

When all they really need is a little bit of confidence and a splash of humor.

In this article I want to share with you three ways to subtly flirt with women so you can break the ice and begin conversations with them easier.

Most men who have approached a woman on their own knows it can be a mortifying experience.

These flirting tips will help you become a better flirt.

  1. The introduction should always begin with a hello my name is or I saw you across the room and I wanted to come over and say hi. It's a rather simple approach but makes you come across as a genuine person. Once the conversation begins, you need to keep her interested by allowing the conversation to flow naturally.
  2. A majority of women love humor, if you lack the comedic skills of Eddie Murphy, don't worry. Usually some light self deprecating humor can go a long way and shows them your not intense and able to poke fun at the world around you. Play off her verbal cues and make sure to compliment her on a feature not normally recognized by men. If she has pretty eyes, don't compliment her on them, instead compliment her on the her taste in shoes.
  3. Ask her probing questions to identify her likes and dislikes. Make sure to make physical contact with in the first five minutes of meeting her. Touching her arm gently or putting your hand on the small of her back will show her you have confidence. Learn about her and let her do the majority of the talking. As soon as she starts telling you her likes and dislikes then it's a cue to get her number and exit. When she says she likes going for hikes on Sunday afternoons, tell her you like to hike and would like to experience a hike with her. Ask for her number and once you get it leave and go back to your friends.
These three flirting tips are how to flirt with a women. The goal when you approach any women is to make subtle physical contact and negotiate with her until she gives you the phone number.

Once you become adept at flirting and build your confidence...you will be able to approach a Hollywood movie star without hesitation. And all the pageantry of flirting will become second nature.

Fear of Public Speaking - What's There to Be Afraid Of?

What do people fear most? There are about 500 documented phobias and the list is growing.

The following phobias are the most common fear-objects that lead to symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and breathlessness. In some cases, these symptoms escalate into a full-blown panic attack.

Social Phobias, The fear of social situations. In many cases, these phobias can become so severe that people avoid events, places, and people that are likely to trigger an anxiety attack.

Arachnophobia, The fear of spiders. Ophidiophobia, The fear of snakes. Acrophobia, The fear of heights. Agoraphobia, The fear of situations in which escape is difficult this may include crowded areas, open spaces. Approximately one third of people with panic disorder develop agoraphobia. And by the time you've read this far you might even have Phobophobia, the fear of phobias.

But let's talk about Glossophobia, a social phobia, the fear of public speaking. This fear is ranked higher on the scale of fears than death. Some people are more afraid of speaking, out loud, in public than dying. That's a pretty heavy duty fear.

So, let's see what happens; you've been asked to give a presentation, just a little talk at the office or for your local club. You've prepared for several days going over all the details; you know exactly what you're going to say. The big day arrives and you're ready. Then, you remember that time when you were in school and made a small mistake, you miss-pronounced a word or got tongue tied. Your classmates all laughed and you felt horrible, you got real nervous and started to sweat, you couldn't breathe, you just stood there, frozen with fear. It happens now every time you step in front of a group of people numbering more than two and in truth you might not even remember the school incident, you're just scared to death of speaking in public.

To better understand how this happens let's look at how we know the brain works. First it's important that you imagine the brain as having several compartments or areas of expertise. Now some of these areas work well together and some...not so well. But, it's not their fault, it's how we've evolved, beginning with the fight or flight response.

We have four key players or experts in our drama: The amygdala, the sensory thalamus, the sensory cortex and the hippocampus. It's not necessary for you to know where these players reside specifically in the brain just that they do

The amygdala - did you ever see the movie "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"? In the scene where the trio of escaped convicts is hold up in the loft of a barn and the law has found them, Everett scurries around saying, "Damn, we're in a tight spot!" Well, the amygdala is that character! It is the scaredy-cat part of the brain; always monitoring what's happening around you to see if you should be afraid or not! But it doesn't do that alone, it needs some help. This is where the sensory thalamus comes along.

The sensory thalamus - this part of the brain sends information to the amygdala about what's happening around you, but it does it in a very child-like way, leaving out much of the detail and consequently the full picture of what's happening isn't conveyed. The detail is left to the sensory cortex.

The sensory cortex - The amygdala needs help in processing the information that it gets, so it sends information to its friend, the sensory cortex, to shed some light on what's happening around it. The sensory cortex works out in detail what exactly the information means to the body and then sends the answer back to the amygdala.

The hippocampus -This is where, in simple terms, the memory camps out. When any information comes to the amygdala, it asks the hippocampus if it remembers it; have we seen this before, is it a threat or not? The hippocampus, being a good friend, tells the amygdala all it knows. It also cross-checks with the sensory thalamus to make sure it is getting its facts right. But as we've already seen, that can be very unreliable!

So, you might ask, "Can phobias be cured?" Yes, yes they can, and very quickly. Enter Hypnosis, and NLP. The American Medical Association in 1958 recognized hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a viable scientific modality, and a useful and powerful complimentary therapy. And in 1962 the American Psychiatric Association recognized that hypnosis was a viable modality for effective change. The types of phobias that can be treated with hypnosis therapy are limitless.

Most people who undergo hypnotherapy for phobic disorders will experience a diminished or non-reactive response to the stimuli. Without paralyzing fear, life once again becomes a joy to experience. So, go on shout it out, what's there to be afraid of?"

A Home Business Selling Sex Toys

Selling sex toys is becoming more and more acceptable as sex toys make their appearances in mainstream media via publications, cable TV shows and radio talk shows. Some sex toy consultants start their own company by purchasing products directly from online suppliers. Hosting parties can be fun and unique whether in the comfort of your own home or at a nice hotel room with your friends. Sex toy consultants can earn anywhere from $200 to $1000 per party and it's a fun idea for bachelorette parties, bridal showers and birthday parties or even a great way to start the girls night out on the town!

As with any home business there are basics and if you follow and implement into your business the chance of your success go up dramatically. With over 20 years of experience I will focus on specific areas of business that you can integrate into your business as a sex toy consultant.

In this article I focus on three things you can do right now using video to market your sex toy consultant business.

1. Creating a video is easy, and posting on YouTube is free. Shooting and creating a video for featuring a new product or one of your favorites is a great "teaser" before your sex toy party to get the "buzz" going. You can then either upload the video to YouTube as is or edit it with software such as iMovie or Windows Movie Maker to add titles and special effects. You might want to shoot from different angles with one or more cameras and then piece together the footage to create a unified final product.

This will give your final video a "polished" look and feel and come across as professional. But remember, less is usually more when it comes to special effects as they can take up much memory and slow computers when viewing. Set up a free YouTube account and when you're ready upload the video and share your new product like. Also, if you make a video template with text overlays this will be great for easy and fast editing your next product release.

2. Your video should be no longer than three minutes (preferably shorter). Imagine and think about the commercials we watch everyday on cable and TV. Many commercials are a standard 30 seconds to one minute. Anything over one minute is considered long in the advertising world. Think short and give people three things to remember about your video. If you have several products you would like to promote consider making a series with a creative edge. This is where you start to brand yourself.

3. Tell everyone about your video! Soon after you upload your videos you will want to share the links with your audience. If you are looking to build a new online audience the key is repetition and quality content. Don't get discouraged, just keep making new videos as it takes a while to build an audience. When you're just getting started, make sure people know it's there and can find it. Create links to your video from your home page, product pages, or online media room. Mention your video in your emails to friends about other product promotions.

RFID Tags - What They Are and How They Work

RFID Chips (Radio-Frequency Identification Chips) are widely used today. Dog-tags, supermarket products, even humans can be RFID-ed to keep track of their location and aid logistics. RFIDs are tiny, they are powered by external signals and and thus can be easily hidden from sight. They work on radio and thus unlike barcode they just need to be in the area to be read rather then be passed over a laser scanner. Thus they are more efficient. Alien Technology is one of the pioneers in RFID technology, production and marketing. They make RFID tags, printers and readers that are fully compliant with modern standards. The tag catches radio signals and posts responses, using the waves to power itself up in the process. It requires only a very tiny amount of power, enough only to post a reply, hence the process is very quick.

RFIDs are used in all sectors and industries nowadays. Supply chain management, machine-driven payment, physical access control, counterfeit prevention, airline baggage management, smart homes and offices, logistics and security. More commonly the RFID tags are seen by people in stores and shopping malls, attached to the price label as well as hidden inside of the clothing or product. This thin flat tag is called a 'Label'. 'Ticket' is even thinner and made of paper. 'Card' is the chip inserted in a tought but thin plastic like employee IDs and access cards. 'Glass Bead' is a durable small tag in a cylindrical glass ball or bead. These are used to tag animals and be safe for them as well as durable enough to stay tagged on. RFIDs come in various frequencies that are custom designed for use in specific applications.

Many applications are revolutionized with the accuracy and reliability of RFID devices, like manufacturing process control and confirmation, material tracking, airline luggage identification and routing systems and single-pass multiple item identification. All processes get catalyzed with the introduction of intelligent tracking and management. Especially toll collection and container tracking has become extremely efficient thanks to the quick movement and identification thanks to RFIDs at ports. Mobil Speedpass is a recent application of RFIDs in payment systems. For more valuable items that need tags which last longer, Active and Semi-passive RFID Tags are used. But they are more expensive than passive tags and hence are used rarely in low-value goods.

People's privacy however get's compromised with RFIDs. All technology and development is two sided. The demerits of RFIDs, though fewer, are severe. Electronic Frontier Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union are some groups which have been formed to protect civil liberties and protect people against invasion of privacy. You can be tracked, your conversation and actions recorded and this can all be done cheaply and effectively. All this from spy movies is a reality and there are many more spies and sleuths out there than you may have thought.

RFIDs are operational over short distances and that is a demerit. The tag can be read only at very short distances, typically a few feet at most. Go for Passive RFIDs if area of use has less interference and distances ranging anywhere from a few inches to a few yards.

Things to Say to Your Ex Boyfriend to Get Him Back

If you just had a breakup and you want him back badly, there are thousands of things you can say to your ex boyfriend to get him back.

The first set of words you can say must be related to love such as "I miss you" and "I love you". You can also use words that will build up your mystery factor or try to be a tease to show your naughty side that your boyfriend might be longing for. It is up to you to decide which methods you should use to get him back.

As soon as you are ready, set a date to meet up with him. If he turns down your invitations do not push him; just wait for another time when things have cooled downed properly. Once he agrees to go out with you, do not get too excited and just act normally. Do not say "I love you" right away because he might get scared.

While on a date with him, you have to set the mode because both of you are probably uneasy and feel like you are dating a stranger. Try to relax and start talking about casual stuff first. Make sure to keep away disturbances like mobile phones. Slowly talks about the things that happened between you when you are sure that he is in his comfort zone. Be subtle in your approach so you will not force him to suddenly remember the bad parts of your relationship. You can start talking about happy memories like your favorite movies to watch. When he becomes more comfortable, slowly switch to talking about major issues of your breakup.

Listen to him carefully during this delicate process and do not get too emotional when he frankly says the things you have done wrong. After he talks, explain you side to him and say what you feel. Finally, say sorry for whatever misunderstandings that has happened and tell him that you do still love him.
