Group Game - A Fun Game For Family & Group Get-Togethers

This fun team game can be played with your family, with friends, for team-building or leadership activities, at parties, for Church or youth groups, or any other get-together! It is a combination of the classic game of Charades, but players will draw the words instead of actually acting them out. Enjoy playing this fun team game!

DRAWING CHARADES

# of Players: 4 or more

Objects Needed: Papers, Pencils, Bowl (& Possibly a Blindfold)

If you are not a good artist, you'd better hope your teammates are great guessers! To start, have each person playing take 5 slips of paper and write on them various things: famous person, familiar place, common object, movie, song, animal, etc. (it can be anything). Then, place all the papers in a bowl, and divide the group into two teams (or teams of 3-4 players on each team). To begin, have one person from each team come to the front of the room.

These two players (or more if there are more than 2 teams) will then together pull out one paper and each will look at this same paper. They then will go back to their team, and at "go," they will have to draw what was on the paper. When drawing, there is absolutely no talking aloud by the person drawing, or writing letters and words to describe what is being drawn (only drawing). And, the person drawing must keep their eyes shut while drawing - no peaking! Each team will then be in a race to be the first team to guess what it is their teammate is drawing. The first team that guesses correctly will receive a point. Start another round by having each team send up a new person to pull a slip of paper out to draw. This will repeat, and the first team to 15 points is the winner!
