How to Stop Your Marriage From Falling Apart - Tips to Rebuild Your Relationship

When a married couple begins to feel their relationship unraveling it can be devastating. In some instances one partner will decide that keeping the family intact isn't worth the trouble and they'll move out and seek a divorce. In other cases the couple wants to try and rebuild the relationship but they have absolutely no idea where to start. If you're faced with this now and you want to rekindle the love and commitment that was once present in your marriage, there's help. There are simple steps that you can take, beginning today, that will reconnect you and your partner emotionally. Learning how to stop your marriage from falling apart is the key to a happy, fulfilling future with the person you adore.

Communication is obviously vitally important to any successful marriage but many couples don't truly see the value in listening to their partner. It's so easy to go on the defense when your partner comes to you because they are troubled about the relationship, or in particular, something you are doing. If you want your marriage to succeed you have to be willing to hear the negatives as well as the positives from your spouse. Make a commitment to one another to truly listen to each other. Let your partner talk, without interruption when they are expressing what they feel about the relationship. Absorb what they say and learn from it. Don't try and defend your position. Instead compromise and grow from everything they tell you. If you can do this, they'll follow suit and do the same for you.

Dating doesn't have to stop once you two make that fateful trip down the aisle and become husband and wife. Couples who are happy in their relationships tend to make time to continue to date each other. Depending on your budget, you don't have to devote a great deal of money to this. Something as simple and pleasurable as arranging overnight care for the kids with a close friend or relative and then having dinner together at home, followed by a movie or a shared bath, can be more than enough. The focus shouldn't be on the experience, but more on the company. Enjoy this type of uninterrupted time with your spouse. It can help you both to get to know one another again and it will remind each of you why you fell in love with the other.

Get Me Out of Debt Today!

Why debt matters...

Historically speaking, we as a society continue to increase our debt load, both as individuals and corporately. While our parents or grandparents understood the value of saving, our culture has not embraced this value and rather encourages us to spend beyond our means through easy credit in order to acquire more, newer, and better things. As a result, many people quickly end up with significant debt that can negatively impact their credit rating and cripple their spending power through large interest payments.

What is the problem?

Debt in some cases can be worthwhile. It is often worth going into debt in order to finance education, and in some cases a car or a house. The problem occurs when more debt is taken on than can reasonably be repaid, or when new debt is being used to pay for older debt. A significant source of debt is relying on credit cards and not paying off the full balance monthly. While credit cards can be a useful tool in some circumstances, they often cause people to spend more money than they earn and not keep track of what they spend until the bill arrives at the end of the month. Making only the minimum payment both increases the overall interest of the debt and prolongs the time in debt. While it can seem like a good idea at the time, it is not a good long term strategy.

What is the solution?

There is no one solution to debt, rather there are many things that can be done to limit or deal with debt. The first is to try to avoid debt before it becomes a problem. This can be done through making a budget that matches income to expenditures and sticking to it. Limit impulse buying and be very aware of how much you spend. If you are spending more than you earn, you need to find ways to either earn more or spend less. Cut out frivolities like eating out, going to movies, buying more clothes than you need, etc. If you are already in debt, the first step is to sit down with all your bills and determine how much debt you have. If it is credit card debt, I recommend cutting up all your credit cards. You can always apply for one later, but for now drastic measures need to be taken. Next, look online or at the library for free credit counseling. There are usually many services available that can help with either finding you a consolidation loan or negotiating with creditors to make your payments more affordable. The worst thing you can do is to carry on with the habits that got you into debt. Be aware of your problem and take the steps to solve it.

Save Money With the Best Espresso Maker Type For You and Your Needs

Finding the best espresso maker can really save you a ton of money. After all, have you really thought about how much you're spending at Starbucks? If you add all those $4 lattes and such up, in a month or two you could have bought yourself a very nice express machine. You would rather just drive through and get your shot, you say? Don't be so quick to dismiss espresso machines. They're tons of fun, can be the life of the party, and who knows might help you unwind from that over stressful job you have.

There's just one questions, though. What's the best espresso maker on the market?

And just like what's the best movie, what's the best exercise, and what's the best vacation spot, this question doesn't really have an answer, either. You can come close to choosing the right espresso maker for your needs and budget, though. To do this, you need to know a little more about espresso machines in general.

There are basically four types of espresso machine, steam driven, pump and piston driven, and also an automatic type machine. Each has their pros and cons.

There's probably no way we're going to get away with calling any steam driven machine "the best espresso". These are your lower end machines. Made more for gifts and occasional fun. Having said that, the first espresso machine I ever owned was a steam machine and was given to me by my wife. That one present created a lot of fun and joy for us. So, who can argue with that?

In general, though, most candidates for the best espresso maker would be piston, pump, and automatic machines.

Piston and pump espresso machines are very similar. They're more the old style machine, with a lever handle that pressures the water through the machine. Both types are finicky, though. You have the grind your beans just right, for instance, or the machine's not going to work.

A lot of purists might easily consider piston or pump machines the best espresso machine.

If you're really going to be all inclusive about this, however, you really need to think about automatic machines. They're just as good as pump or piston machines, but not nearly so picky.

Either way, the goal is to enjoy your espresso, so decide what you think is the best espresso maker, then get one and start having fun.
